Mary’s Story: How We Helped

Today we look at the story of Mary, a single mother of two with a third child on the way. I first met Mary through doing business with her. Upon our first appointment, she arrived with both her daughters, 2 and 4 years old.

Myself being a single mother, I quickly recognized that she simply didn't have the means for childcare. I saw myself in her, as I too had to bring my youngest to work with me when she was a toddler for that very reason. Having shared such a similar struggle, I humbly approached her after the meeting to ask if there was anything I could do, from one single mom to another.

After some back and forth, she then mentioned that she needed clothes for her girls, and was without a couch for her family. We wanted to help, Juzt Because. Because many people fall on rough times, and because I had been there too. We were able to provide her with clothing and a couch, along with some assistance on the utility bill.

Helping your community can be done in many different ways, from the smallest gesture to the biggest donation. If you are able, we encourage you to take action, Juzt Because.
